Matrix Model Treatments address the many factors that contribute to alcohol and drug abuse. The needs of the client are considered in all of our individualized treatment plans and include the following:
Motivational Interviewing is a style of therapy that is designed to respect clients while helping them move toward making health related changes. This non-confrontational style of therapy creates a nurturing relationship in which the client can thrive and successfully heal. This is a hallmark of all Matrix treatments.
The involvement and attitudes of family members and friends can significantly enhance the recovery process. Families are always strongly encouraged to participate in the Matrix treatment experience.
The Matrix program was founded on the principle that scientific findings can be easily translated, explained, and used by clients and their families. As scientific advances are made, the latest information is incorporated into the Matrix treatment programs.
Contingency Management Reinforcing positive behaviors during treatment has been shown to be highly effective in achieving a variety of substance abuse treatment goals. Matrix uses this principle in all of the treatment programs.
Clients are offered continuing care groups at Matrix following the intensive phase of treatment. Individuals who stay connected by attending the continuing care groups have a better chance of achieving long-term recovery.
