Jeremy D. Martinez, M.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Jeremy Martinez, MD is the Chief Executive Officer for the Matrix Institute on Addictions.
Dr. Martinez is a board-certified psychiatrist and addictionologist. His career has included both administration and clinical work in the field of mental health and addictive disorders. At Matrix, his focus has been to enhance the scope of Medication Assisted Treatment, to further develop the Training Department, and to assure Matrix continues the high-quality treatment services for which it is known. He has given speeches at several national and international conferences, has authored book chapters, and teaches fellows, residents, and medical students at the UCLA School of Medicine. He is also the founder of The Solstice Clinic, a multi-disciplinary addiction treatment program.
Dr. Martinez is a graduate of Harvard University, and completed his medical studies at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed residency at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Program, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Martinez also completed the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the UCLA-Neuropsychiatric Institute, where he continues to serve as a volunteer clinical faculty member.
